# Brushed Texture Siding

## All about our brushed texture

Brushed finish is a hybrid between rough and sandblasted finish. It softens the surface of the wood while leaving it with textures that will allow it to receive the finish. This brushing process creates a finish that is both delicate and elegant, offering an intermediate grip for the finish to be applied.

### Transformation process

The result of a mechanical brushing operation, we exploit the difference in hardness in natural wood according to the tree's growth rings. Brushing then removes the softer wood from the surface, creating linear ribs along the length of the pieces.

### Benefits

Softens the wood's surface appearance and prepares it for a suitable finish.

### Particularities

As wood is a variable material, no two pieces will have the same appearance.

Areas of varying roughness may appear. This is not a defect, but reflects the natural characteristics of the material.

Slightly less durable in finish than unfinished, but presents a more modern look to the taste of some.
